Blackbird is the new novel from New York Times bestselling author, Molly McAdams, a dark, twisting story of redemption and true love against the odds, perfect for fans of J. B. Salsbury, Jamie McGuire, Sophie Jackson and Lisa Renee Jones, which A. L. Jackson calls, 'Consuming. Enthralling. Sexy. MIND-BLOWING.'
Briar Chapman is going to be the death of me, and I don't care. I'll take every day until that death comes, and I'll welcome it when it does.
On the outside, Lucas Holt is what nightmares are made of. A man cloaked in darkness, with sin-filled eyes and an enticing grin. A devil so devastatingly beautiful and cruel that his very presence instils fear.
But beneath his terrifying, ever-calm exterior is an affectionate man haunted by a past that refuses to stay buried. And Lucas looks at me as though he's finally found the only person who can make it all go away.
We're in a battle of the brightest day and the darkest night - and I want to lie in the wake of our war.

A+++
Blackbird –from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Molly McAdams.
Romantic Fiction takes a dark turn, and makes you reassess how you thought you felt about love.
This is new territory for Molly McAdams, and is so much darker than her previous books, but she does it so well. While the situation that Briar finds herself in is not an everyday situation for most of us, it deals with a chilling and very real truth, which is hard to understand and must have been emotionally tough for Molly McAdams to research and write.
And as per usual, McAdams knows how to write a guy who appeals to the masses. What we see in Briar’s devil is dangerous and sexy – and damn if that it’s an unbeatable combination.
While this was not my utmost #1 favourite Molly McAdams book (because, From Ashes. Gage, y’all. Gage.) this is well up there. It packs a punch, and leaves you wanting more. It’s the kind of book that you tell yourself you’ll read one more chapter, and then you see the sun come up. "I probably should have slept. Totally worth it though."
I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who has loved, laughed, cried or pined their way through Molly’s other books.
I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who hasn’t. (And then I would recommend you reading all her other books.)
