Brother Errant On Safari

“Bro. Errant on Safari” is about five safaris.  The first one to Kenya was self-toured and that is not the way to go.  However, I saw large herds of elephants which I never saw afterwards.  The second was while I was teaching for a semester in Nairobi; and I took tours to Treetops, the Ark, and a wonderful weekend in the Maasai Mara.  The third was in South Africa to Kruger National Park, where in a couple of days we saw the “big five.” The fourth in Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe was by far the best for animal viewing.  The last was to both Kenya and Tanzania, each country full of superb animals, but it is better to enjoy each of those countries by itself.  The key to all safaris is to see lions, impalas, elephants, leopards, etc. in their natural habitat.  That was the most enjoyable an awe-inspiring.
