Business Turnaround Explained (A Practical Guide‪)‬

This guide is intended to create a common frame of reference for managers/business owners and consultants alike.  It

► is aimed at all types of businesses (regardless of whether the goal is to turnaround / restructure / optimize the business)

► acts as a guideline for SMME's (Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises)

You will find that a lot of this is "common sense" but you probably have never thought about business in this way. Hopefully, this will open your mind to new thinking and enable you to look at your own business with "different spectacles".

It was written in simple terms, in a loose style with short, practical examples to explain the concepts, using a "broad-brush" approach.

The author has worked as a Management Accountant and as a Financial Manager.  He then made a career change to Systems Implementation and Management.  He does Management Consulting with a focus on Business Turnaround.

He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association Southern Africa (TMA_SA).

He has an MBA / MBL (Master's Degree in Business Leadership) from the University of South Africa (UNISA)'s School of Business Leadership (SBL) with majors in:
