This is a truly original story. The premise of the story was completely new, and I did not see the plot coming. This is definitely only a book for adults who are comfortable with a level of dark humor, violence, sexuality and complete irreverence of religion. I would not recommend it to everyone and especially not the easily offended. Can it ever be too late to repent? This dark satire asks profound questions of faith and philosophy and, in so doing, challenges atheism and religious fundamentalism in equal measure. The humor may be outrageous, but this book is a ‘must read’ for anyone with an interest in philosophy or religion.
