Capitalism Explained: How Do The Bankers Win And You Lose‪?‬

Who manages the economy in the West?

Why do food prices and rents increase even when more houses are built and more food is produced and huge productive capacity sits idle? Why do unemployment and underemployment increase? And above all, why stay uninformed about these most basic aspects of life?

These may seem like natural events that you take for granted, but in reality, they are anything but natural. They are all a result of a manmade econopolitical system. There is no mystery, nor anything supernatural, about economic and political events. There are truths that are buried; there are lies and deception. There is nothing too difficult to understand about the basic truths regarding the economic and political workings of society, provided that you want to learn.

The system is rigged, that much people may observe in their daily lives. How is it rigged? What are the tricks and traps? Some you may know, but many others you would not. What is capitalism, really?

One cannot build a better world before completely identifying current problems. Don't blame greed or any other human trait—greed is not an economic or political system, capitalism is.

Humanity has advanced over the millennia. Biologically, we are the same as people living in the Stone Age some 50000 years ago, but we don't live their lives. We have laws that they did not have. We have a civilization that is markedly different from that of even 400 years ago. Change is a fact of life that no one can dispute.

Sometimes the social change is backward and most other times forward, towards new horizons.

Capitalism is a 17th century economic and political system and is totally outdated, not only for our technological capabilities but also for our laws and values. We need a better system without mindlessly accepting famed "ism"s as the ultimate truth.

Anyone can think of a way forward after totally understanding what's wrong with capitalism. Unfortunately, most people throw around words ending with -ism without actually knowing what they mean, including capitalism.
