Courting Miss Thang is a love story about redemption and friendship.

Pro basketball player VINCENT SLIGHT had no idea who he was trying to date.  When he first saw FRENCES WALKER, with her soft caramel skin and sweet curvy legs, he was intrigued. As he gets to know her, he became infatuated.

Frences had a secret – she is the famous porn star, Miss Thang. That was the reason she had sworn off men. She felt like they all wanted to have her the way they saw her. She had moved with her six-year old daughter across country to be a new person, to start fresh as a medical student in Toronto, Canada.

Without Frences or Vincent realizing it, they began dating the old fashioned way, friends first...until the Lakers came to Toronto. The Los Angeles players recognized Frences and let Vincent know that who was falling in love with was no lady. He had to walk away.

Heartbroken, her life spirals out of control. Because she attended the game, which was aired in Los Angeles, her parents were able to tell the Marshals where to find her.
