This is a spinoff in the badboys series, and also based in the Dixie reapers universe as Jackson is the son of Cowboy and Jacey.
Mia and Jackson’s relationship starts off as friendship in a convenient marriage to protect Mia from her former partner who is abusive as Mia is pregnant unexpectedly. This eventually evolves to more as they get to know each other, being a long and slow journey. Their chemistry is natural and that’s the best kind.
Jackson steps up to protect her and does a splendid job, he balances his rodeo life with his personal. There are lots of twists and turns in this book and it’s definitely worth reading as are all the books written by Harley!
Really can’t recommend reading her books enough as her writing style is excellent and riveting from the first paragraph.
