Cranky Franky and the Spelling Scheme

Third grader Cranky Franky is only happy when his classmates are miserable. So every school year, he devises a scheme to annoy as many kids as possible. This year, Franky intends to disrupt the annual spelling bee. But his assigned spelling bee study partner is Chatty Patty, and her blabbing could ruin everything!

So Franky decides to befriend Patty—or rather, use her—hoping that his scheming skills can put her chattiness to good use for once. They are the two most disliked kids in class, and he plans for one of them to win the competition. That would so irritate the other kids!

In order to stop Franky and Patty from winning, the class rallies around Phony Tony, Snobby Bobby, and Smarty Arty. The three boys must now think like Franky if they are going to beat him. Unfortunately for them, there's only room for one Cranky Franky. And unfortunately for Franky, his friendship with Patty just might be making him a little less cranky.
