Dance of Samhain

Under the flickering flames of the Samhain bon fire, when the veil between the mortal world and the one beyond is thinnest, in the mists of the darkest hour between the setting and the rising suns, I was born, and I was forever cursed.

They say I killed her, my mother. And as I took my first breath, she took her last. The clan was scared. They said I was touched by the darkest spirit and born with a full head of moonlight-white hair. Maybe they're right, my clansmen. Maybe I am cursed, but I have a secret, and I'll never tell it...
