Publisher Description
Sometimes revenge is the road to salvation.
Louie Thorne knows what vengeance costs. After her parents were murdered, revenge became the only thing that kept her alive—and the thing that nearly destroyed her. She learned to live with the blood on her hands, believing that monsters deserved what they got.
So when Lou crosses paths with Diana Dennard—a relentless huntress tracking a child predator—she doesn't interfere. Lou recognizes the fire driving Diana forward. The obsession. The certainty that killing evil is the only way to survive it.
But Diana's hunt isn't about justice.
As Lou is drawn deeper into Diana's world, the lines between predator and protector begin to blur. Diana's methods grow more erratic. Her targets expand. And suddenly, Lou realizes the danger isn't just to criminals—it's to the people Lou loves most.
Forced into a deadly game of manipulation and control, Lou must confront a terrifying truth:
What if the greatest threat isn't the monsters she hunts—but the one who knows exactly how she thinks?
Devil's Luck is a dark, psychologically charged vigilante thriller about obsession, moral collapse, and the thin line between retribution and madness. Brutal, emotional, and unflinching, this installment pushes Lou closer than ever to the edge—and asks whether some paths of revenge can ever lead back.
