Edifice

The market is glutted with books on the family, all purporting to have the answer, how to solve this or that, and how to protect your family.  The fact is, however, there is only one way to “save the family”: to rebuild it upon the foundations given in Scripture.  This is an unpopular message, for it requires us to lay the blame for the current condition of the family not upon Hollywood or Washington, the local school system, or internet pornography.  The problem with the family is the family, millions of men and women whose daily decisions, in everything from dating to parenting, manifest an unwillingness to avail themselves of the wisdom God has graciously provided in his word, the Bible.  If this little work helps even one family recover some of those principles and bring itself even a bit more under the guidance and blessing of Jesus Christ, I am humbled and thankful to my heavenly Father, to whom I owe everything.
