Since Elise’s capture, Trip has strangely been permitted, encouraged even, to visit and spend time with her. Trip finds himself growing close to Elise and doesn’t know how to reconcile his feelings with the ongoing war. Tired of seeing her cooped up in a windowless room, Trip brings escorts Elise to the cafeteria for lunch. But lunch is interrupted when Commander Yamamoto announces that a special tribunal will convened to try Elise for war crimes.
