Emotions of the Heart

D.L.S. had not written a poem for many years after her father's death on February 14, 2004. She has started to write again. Feeling the emotional pain of the loss of someone that was so close to her. Her dad was her best friend in life and her mentor.
She had to find an outlet for her pain and the feelings she had been keeping locked up inside.


She found writing poetry to be the best way to express her emotional feelings. Her poetry tells the emotion of lost love and the emotions of life itself; whether it be good, bad, or even happy. Her poetry expresses her feelings. .. To her own personal experience of life and love that has been found or lost. Its all about the emotions of love lost, love found and, most of all, love of friends and family.
