Anna had always tried to play by the rules, but dealing with her mother's Alzheimer's disease caused her to start breaking those rules, and now that she'd started, events had kept her on a path headed to disaster.

She thought moving from Louisiana to Indiana would give her the distance she needed from her troubled family. Then, this disease forced her to move back to The Bayou State and become Mama's caregiver. Anna never imagined what that would entail – arson, kidnapping, murder, and all the while trying to discover family secrets that had kept her confused since childhood. In spite of her upbringing, she came to know Jesus as her savior at an early age. She must now trust in Him more than she ever had before.
