Falling Stars

The year is 2084 and the future is bleak. James, a half-native convict is given a lethal injection after a gruesome murder and is awakened by the aid of two mysterious otherworldly beings to find he's one of many prototype super-soldiers for an underground military project deep in an Arizonan desert for an off-plane war. But there is an inner secret that resides within; by the power of an ancient; he who wears his face gains his strengths. He escapes, venturing many sub-levels to uncover an entire underworld ruled by unhuman overlords. As he battles many foes to reach the surface, his girlfriend, Alice, a tattoo artist, remains city-bound, fighting her alcoholism. On the brink of death, she journeys an outer land of dreams, meeting new allies and enemies along the way. And when the two lovers unite, is when they find themselves part of something bigger and far darker than they could have ever imagined, as their off-world guides show them the way of how their realm is really run, aiding them in their survival to the harsh realities and deadly encounters.
