Starting school is full of fun in this laugh-out-loud sequel to The Cow That Laid and Egg and The Best Cow in Show.
Marjorie the cow feels jolly proud when her daughter, Daisy, starts school. But lessons aren’t as easy as they seem… Daisy can’t hoof paint or swat flies like the other cows, and cowpat training is a disaster!
Yet, Marjorie soon discovers that Daisy has a surprising talent to make her stand out from the herd!
Praise for The Cow That Laid an Egg:
‘The Cow That Laid an Egg… had me in stitches. More than just a silly story about a cow who thinks she’s laid an egg, there’s something deeper here about the idea of family, but it’s so integral to the story that you don’t feel as thought you’ve been hit over the head with the sledgehammer of worthiness.’
"A Charming, comical tale." Starred Editor's Choice
