Four young people thrown together in bed-sit Twickenham. Although ambitious, Connie's generous nature lands her with a following of waifs and strays. She introduces Reece to:Ben, a West Indian from Birmingham, who works at McDonald's. Ben sees himself as a 'hard' man. To satisfy his own ends, he manipulates:Megan, a runaway single mother from Swansea, who lies about her age in order to get an 'au pair' job in Twickenham. Befriended by Connie, she relies heavily on the drama student's guidance, and when Connie goes on tour, she latches on to Reece.
