Fostering Aberrations

Fostering Aberrations explores the role of the architect: adopting an entrepreneurial spirit as a means to amplify the role, during arduous economic conditions. Fostering aberrations in the traditional model of practice, developing a sustainable model of practice with social sensitivity to neighbourhood needs, strengthens the urban context. As architects it asks the question: if there is so much out there to design- What are we doing? What are we being? Exploring Toronto's Queen Street West, the thesis is tested considering urban, entrepreneurial and architectural lenses.
