George's World

For more than eighteen years now my humble column has appeared, on a bi-weekly basis, in The WORLD, Central Vermonts favorite newspaper. (Note: If you looked for the column every other week, but started on the wrong week, you missed it completely.) This book is a collection of many of those writings, so you have another chance. The earliest ones are not here, as pasting stories from slate tablets onto word documents is a difficult thing to do.
