Globalisation Lockdown Learning

With school temporarily closed and our students working from home, we wanted to take the opportunity to give them a different sort of challenge- something that wouldn’t normally be possible in school that would also help prepare them for the future. Their challenge was to research the key economic topic of globalisation and produce an essay on one of three issues. They were given three weeks to research their chosen issue, plan out, and write their essay. We were uncertain what the result of this project would be, having never set students anything like this before, but it is great to be able to say we were very impressed with the effort they put into this task, both in finding out so many interesting case studies from their extensive research and in their final finished essays. It is our pleasure to be able to present these essays to you and we hope you enjoy reading them as much as we did.
