We were going to God’s Country. Eighteen hunderd and 90. With a husle and busle to get things ready. With five litel childern and the oldest only 10 years old. And geting food and clothing for a long journey. We could do that job very well for we did not realise what we were geting into. We had some cousens that had gone 2 years before to the Indian Territory way down on what was called the Fleet Wood Farms in the Chicksaw Nation. Its part of Oklahoma now. And that was where we were going.
