Good Karma for All Makes and Models

Comedy skewers pretense in this romantic comedy. Vishnu Tensleep, a thirty-nine year old Seattle bicycle guru is the last person anyone expects to replace his trusty old car with an adolescent fantasy – a beat-up, badass 1970 Barracuda with a 440 V-8 and a six-barrel carb. Within hours, the ’Cuda yanks Vishnu out of his orderly little life and into a swirl of events involving a shady used car dealer, a good-looking cop, and a fried drug dealer. Throw in a beat-poet fry cook, a slightly bent Lutheran minister, the AARP Ballard Norwegian contingent, White Fang, and a visit to the Five Foot Jesus. All with the promise of guns and dinner. For some, it just doesn’t get more romantic than that.
