Bud Shanks is dead. The problem is he doesn’t know that yet. As reality sets in, Bud is discovered by Marshal John Braun returning to Gilberto from Indian Junction - two towns separated by fifteen miles. Braun begins hearing a voice in his head discovering its Bud trying to communication - s dead man lashed across his horse’s rump! Once accepting of Bud’s presents, Braun uses Bud’s impute of past events to solve the theft of eight hundred stolen Army Winchester rifles and unmask young Bud Shanks killer.
