Peri Harmon is a first term Peer Councilor (from X'lea) and is already in the middle of a political mess! She vows to find out the truth, with the aid of fellow countryman, Julleon Dellan - but the truth might just get her recalled!

Meanwhile, Zilan and his entourage have arrived in X'lea, meeting exotic dancers and twin cousins, Seri and Celna Dellan.
