He Is Human Too

Lenah woke up and looked at her friend next to her. She looked dead tired and fast asleep from that day’s long journey, particularly by bus. Lenah sneaked out of the room and returned five minutes later. She was followed by three men. Sara could not hear anything because the room they slept in did not have a door. Only a cloth was used to close the entrance. Lenah got in between sheets and pretended to be asleep.

The three men grabbed Sara, pinned her to the pillow and killed her by grabbing her by the throat in order to suffocate her. That was a very painful act indeed, in particular to her parents and all those who knew and liked her. Many, like Sara, continue to experience a high level of rejection, abuse and their rights violated due to an entrenched harmful attitude and belief associated with albinism.
