They’re dreaming of a White Christmas…
Carly Gatlin can’t wait to take her fiancé to Colorado for a snuggly snow-filled Christmas, only a freakish summer storm sweeps in disabling everyone’s plans. Still, with holiday surprises in store and even a secret admirer for Stewart Island’s elderly notorious matchmaker, the happy couples of Oban might not mind being home for Christmas after all.
WARNING: If you’re new to the Stewart Island series, this holiday novella isn’t the book to start with. All your past favorite couples join in the seasonal craziness—and if you haven’t read the earlier Stewart Island books it’ll just be crazy-confusing.
Praise for the Stewart Island series!
"It’s official…I’m hooked on this series! I want to jump on a plane and fly to this island, because apparently they grow them big and HOT in New Zealand…men that is!!!" ~ Swept Away By Romance
"Perfection comes in many shapes and forms, and Ms Alvarez delivers in her contemporary voice and quirky character traits that make a distinctive difference between average and stellar storytelling." ~ InD’Tale Magazine
"Just as the must-read series of Donna Kauffman (The Bachelors of Blueberry Cove), Jill Shalvis (Lucky Harbor), Terri Osburn (Anchor Island), Marie Force (The McCarthys of Gansett Island), Sherryl Woods (Chesapeake Shores) have entranced me with their seaside settings and caring communities - so has Tracey Alvarez - and I'm adding her series to my must-read shelf too." ~ Fab Fantasy Fiction

The Happily Ever Afters
It is always so good to visit with friends, and that is what Home for Christmas feels like. The book is a slice of life look at the characters we have come to love, to see their love, and how they come together.
Tracey Alvarez has successfully given us the happily ever afters, showing the love and how it has grown, but also showing family - by blood or by choice, and how family can work together to create something magical.
How for Christmas was the perfect book to read during a very chaotic week. Each chapter was a different slice and yet the book combined beautifully to make a very cohesive whole.
I feel very lucky to have been chosen for an advance reading copy in return for my honest opinion, and I am very pleased to be able to say how much I enjoyed this book.
