If I Fall

Jake is down on his luck… again. He just lost his job and his girlfriend, he is about to default on his loans and credit cards and will be evicted if he can’t pay the owed rent by the end of the week. All because of a backstabbing boss, a cheating ex, and a family that has abandoned him. It’s like the entire world conspires against him, and he’s had enough.

Lana’s life is in a constant downward spiral. The last few years dealing with her clinical depression hasn’t gone exactly as planned. The only people who acknowledge her existence are people who want something from her. And her nagging mother. With no way to reach her therapist, and no way to afford her medication, the voice in her head grows louder. Why continue burdening and disappointing herself and those around her?

Two strangers end up together in the same bed after a rough night with neither remembering how they got there. Is this even real or just a weird dream? After all, people don’t just forget several years of their lives.

The closer they get to the answer, and to each other, the more they grow to lose.
