Publisher Description
Over 53 million unborn children have been killed in legal abortions committed in the United States and Canada. We certainly should have a strong ethical basis to legally sanction the ending of so many lives in our nations, plus over a million more each year. We therefore examine the arguments used by those who promote abortion to determine on how strong of a foundation this practice is based. Then we turn to a higher court of authority than human reasoning to set forth the truths of God’s Word that are involved in the issue of abortion.

Uncritical analysis
This book explores counter arguments in a way designed to reaffirm an opinion you may feel is intuitive. I do not give the book a low rating to point out flaws in the author’s arguments or claims but rather because I am disappointed that it wasn’t written in a way that at the very least presented itself as objectively finding the truth from a critical analysis lens. This is still a decent read to ground some basic arguments and rebuttals made generally by both sides of the pro-life, pro-choice perspectives, but there are many claims within the text that only function if you hold faith in the Christian religion. And, there is in fact an entire passage dedicated to convincing Christians that they must be anti-abortion (sourcing quotes from the bible), again, without any counter-claims being made.
