Kalam is a comprehensive interactive English/Arabic handbook for use by Arabic speakers learning english. It was created by a Duke University student organization, Injaz, for their work with Arabic-speaking refugees in Durham, North Carolina.
Kalam includes vocabulary, sample conversations, exercises, grammar lessons, original audio recordings, and links to relevant YouTube videos. It is designed not only to teach Arabic speakers English, but also to teach refugees about cultural, social, and legal matters in America.
