For a young man this would be a big challenge but at the age of 66 is it too much?

Then having chosen a route which takes you along some of the major long distance walks in Great Britain, across some of the wildest landscapes the British Isles has to offer, carrying a tent and being, in the main, entirely unsupported, the challenge starts to take on epic proportions.

Throw in a few blisters, a leaky tent, storm force winds and rain, river crossings and rock climbing and you begin to get a flavour of the challenges faced.
