Publisher Description
The #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Happened One Summer and Hook, Line, and Sinker returns with a unique, sexy rom-com about a young married couple whose rocky relationship needs a serious renovation...
Rosie and Dominic Vega are the perfect couple: high school sweethearts, best friends, madly in love. Well, they used to be anyway. Now Rosie’s lucky to get a caveman grunt from the ex-soldier every time she walks in the door. Dom is faithful and a great provider, but the man she fell in love with ten years ago is nowhere to be found. When her girlfriends encourage Rosie to demand more out of life and pursue her dream of opening a restaurant, she decides to demand more out of love, too. Three words: marriage boot camp.
Never in a million years did Rosie believe her stoic, too-manly-to-emote husband would actually agree to relationship rehab with a weed-smoking hippie. Dom talking about feelings? Sitting on pillows? Communing with nature? Learning love languages? Nope. But to her surprise, he’s all in, and it forces her to admit her own role in their cracked foundation. As they complete one ridiculous—yet surprisingly helpful—assignment after another, their remodeled relationship gets stronger than ever. Except just as they’re getting back on track, Rosie discovers Dom has a secret... and it could demolish everything.
“Her voice feels as fresh and contemporary as a Netflix rom-com.” —Entertainment Weekly

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
What happens after happily ever after? That’s the question Tessa Bailey tackles in the second book in her sweet and steamy novel, which begins long after the point where most romances end: a decade after the wedding. Rosie and Dominic’s marriage is starting to fizzle, but they still connect—boy, do they ever—in the bedroom. A last-ditch attempt at couples therapy might be the only way these two can start talking again. Bailey does a great job of exploring the realities of long-term relationships, how easy it can be to slide into bad habits with a spouse even when the love’s still there. Love Her or Lose Her proves that there’s still plenty of entertaining stories to be told after “I do.”
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
A married couple rediscovers their passion in the charming second installment in Bailey's Hot and Hammered romantic comedy series (after Fix Her Up). Twenty-seven-year-old Rosie Vega feels that she and her high-school sweetheart turned husband, Dominic, have drifted apart. Though their sex life is still undeniably sizzling, communication has broken down between them, spurring Rosie to move out of their Port Jefferson home. When Dominic asks how he can repair their marriage, Rosie tells him that he needs to agree to last-ditch therapy. Their wacky hippie therapist bans them from having sex and encourages them to learn one another's love languages. To both their surprise, the methods work, and Rosie and Dominic discover that simple acts of kindness create an emotional attachment that had disappeared from their marriage. The possibility of saving their life together looks brighter, until a secret Dominic has been keeping comes to light, threatening to ruin their fragile, newfound love. Bailey loads the story with humor and chemistry while still tackling heavy emotions. Sensual sex scenes and irresistible characters will draw readers in to this sweet romance.

An okay read
This book for me was slower then others that Tessa has written. Did I enjoy reading it yes it was okay. I wouldn’t re-read this one though. Unlike some of her other books eg. fix her up. I would re-read fix her up over and over again.
Rosie and Dominic’s story is a beautiful tale of how a married couple can lose their way and fight to regain passion. However, as I said before it’s not a favorite of mine story wise as I felt the speed of the story was slow burn and needed something more.
