This is the first book of a new series Savage Raptors MC. We meet Lynx (who is the half- brother of Ridley, Venoms partner) and Meredith (Grizzly’s daughter).
Theirs is a slower burn romance which works for both Meredith and Lynx, the build up and release of a waterfall of emotion for their characters. The book deals with issues from Meredith’s past, underneath her exterior is a broken woman who is wounded, this makes Lynx’s protective instincts rise to the surface. From the start he watches from afar protecting and claiming her and is not afraid of his feelings.
This book is a sad one but that makes it all the better for the emotion you feel for both characters and the trials they go through to reach their kind of happy.
You’re missing out if you don’t read this one, I know I say this every time but Harley is a freaking awesome writer, it just keeps getting better and better!
