Maeven: Dragon Agent

Imperative instinct drives Maeven from the protection of the dragon's cave and into the clutches of the evil demon, Ciabolo. Her manipulative words distract him from his original purpose, but not from his intense desire for revenge. He takes her back to the King's citadel in Vatarik where the King basks in the possibilities of having a Princess of Thulor in his control.
Seeing no way to escape, her innate stubbornness and desire to thwart them grows. Her quick tongue and thief skills, are potent weapons.
Knowing her father must counter their attempts to infiltrate his kingdom, and the dragon mage is still growing into her power, Maeven distracts them on their own ground, ferrets out their secrets and hopes for help.
Being pregnant with the King's heirs, provides some protection but as the time of the birth draws near, her time is running out. If they have no further use for her, all she learnt would be wasted.
Will help arrive in time, or will her enemies win after all?
