Math Fun

The lesson plan, student activities, and online assessments in this interactive book are aligned to common Core State Standards for Mathematics. The focus of Volume 1.2 is the standards in the Geometry domain for fifth grade. Designed for ease of use by teachers and parents, the activities for the children are intended to be used jointly with the app, Coordinate Geometry, published by Ventura Educational Systems.


With this interactive book, children begin their journey through coordinate geometry with the legend of Rene Descartes and the fly on the ceiling. Throughout the book, students individually, with a partner, or with the entire class, are offered a multitude of engaging opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and their understanding of the concepts by completing the worksheets, games, and online activities.
