Memories of a Day

VΛT Visual Artists Team, in collaboration with Creative CODE / ePUB coders presents their publication Berlin 1989 – 2015 – Memories Of A Day, which focuses on the exchange of texts and images via email, between two important artists, Monique Renault and Vouvoula Skoura, all part of their memories of the days of the Fall of the Berlin Wall.

Those days the two filmmakers happened to be in the city, whilst participating in the Berlin Film Festival and their chance meeting in a milieu highly charged by historical events, evolved into a powerful friendship, still continuing to this day.

Now, 25 years later, they have communicated their thoughts and memories via an exchange of emails, using text and images, but still maintaining the distinct character of their work.

Monique Renault and Vouvoula Skoura, a member of VAT, have very different views. And it is this difference in visual style, the different look on memories of those days that interested Visual Artists Team, prompting to create this special publication.
