Publisher Description
Each of us has a coping mechanism to deal with life in our unique way. I found solace in penning my thoughts, which today have resulted in this little project that you hold. My observations of those around me, my reactions to several situations, and what has ultimately proved to be an exercise in growth and learning, as I stumble through this beautiful process called Life. Before you turn the pages I would like to share one thought. Nothing in life is permanent. Each phase, however permanent it may seem at that moment, is dependent on your outlook. It will only last as long as you let it control you. As many wise people before me have said that ‘You cannot control the situation, but you can control your reaction to it’ there in lies the trick to coping. You may find these words relatable at times, hopefully motivating sometimes, or just a sympathetic confidant when you’re feeling blue. At the end of the day everyone here on this earth is just a tenant. One must learn to coexist with the good and bad that life has to offer. One must learn to adapt, to continue to be ourselves and yet be free. Along the path, one has to face a variety of situations, a medley of personalities each of which has the unique purpose of teaching us something new. There will be times when you can be vocal about your feelings, but other times may have to deal with it from within. Being able to understand that it is bound to go away, even in that particular moment of sorrow, is enlightenment.
