My Hero Danielle

**You don't need a cape to be a superhero. Sometimes, all it takes is a little kindness.**

Carlton Elementary School has a secret superhero, and her name is Danielle!

After witnessing a classmate being bullied on the playground, Danielle discovers how good it feels to help someone in need. But she worries that standing up for others might make her the bullies' next target.

So Danielle decides to become a secret superhero, quietly helping classmates, picking up trash, and finding little ways to make her school a better place.

As her acts of kindness begin to make a difference, even the bullies start changing their behavior.

*My Hero Danielle*, Book 2 in Patricia Harris's Self Esteem Series, is a heartwarming illustrated children's story about kindness, courage, bullying, and discovering that even the smallest good deeds can make someone a hero.
