   Life can be a fickle bitch. Just when you think it's safe to come out of hiding and stop looking over your shoulder, you best think again. Cause when you least expect it, life will rear its ugly head and fuck up your life.  
   For 15 years now I've hidden in plain sight, or at least I tried, I changed my name, moved three states away, but I still lived my life in fear of the devil himself. If he knew I was alive he'd kill me. 
   Then one stormy night I met one sexy bad ass biker when my car broke down. He stopped to help me and one look at him and I was gone, he blew my mind away with his amazing smile, his long jet black hair, his gorgeous green eyes, those muscles and tattoos and the way the rain glistened off his skin. I knew I wanted him more that the air I breathed but He'd never let me be happy. He'd ruin my life. He'd kill Gunner and anyone I loved. 

 Gunner was fun, sexy and damn could he kiss. He was becoming my everything. After 6 years I thought I had a chance at happiness. Everyone that promised to keep me safe was in danger and it was my fault. 
  I finally found happiness just to have it ripped out of my life. Gunner was the man I'd dreamed of, he was my life, my breath, my everything.

    I'm 38 years old and Vice President of the Devil's Angel's MC.  I lost my parents when I was 12 due to a drunk driver who hit them head on killing them immediately. I was ripped out of my home, my school, my friends and shoved into a group home with Momma Carter, little did I know that woman would change my life in more ways than one.    
     I got caught trying to run away I was introduced to Pops. Between him, his band of brothers and Momma Carter they changed my life forever. I finally had a family structure and discipline in my life. Pops son Jax, Snake, and myself became the best friends.   Funny how life works out. Pops and Momma Carter passed on but they left a legacy with the club and one hell of an impression on me and my life.  I had a family of brothers. In the last 25 years I've seen it all, done it all and had life throw shit at me I didn't know was possible.  My brothers have been through it all with me but once Prez fell in love, got married and found his forever one it changed all our lives. 
So when life sent me her I knew what Jax was talking about. The damsel in distress, cliché as it sounds.  I stopped to help her when her car broke down in a rain storm. She was soaked to the bone and still she was the most gorgeous woman I'd ever seen. That woman rocked my whole world. That night I met a feisty red head with eyes as blue as the ocean.  That night I became her hero but I still couldn't keep her safe. She was running from someone. And that someone found her and took her from me. 
    The moment I found out she was gone I felt like my heart had been ripped out. She was the one and now I had to find the strength in me to get her back before it was to late.
