Nature, the Soul, and God

This collection of readings serves as an introduction to natural philosophy (also known as philosophy of nature). Beginning with the Pre-Socratic philosophers, students will encounter a number of views regarding what nature is and how it functions. The book concludes with chapters drawing out epistemological, moral, and metaphysical implications of these views.
