Leaving home at the age of eight, living in the jungles in the Kumaon region of northern India, and meeting people from all walks of life from all parts of the world, Baba Hari Dass has extensive life experience which informs his many stories for both children and adults. Although he has been a yogi almost his entire life, Babaji has never lost touch with the enchantment of being a child as he skillfully weaves lessons into the stories he writes. In the Pigeon Throne, we are transported to a long ago time and place to witness the coming of age of Sundar, crown prince of Ayodhya, the capitol city of ancient India.
