Port of Amsterdam 


The port of Amsterdam stretches from the IJ water in the city centre of Amsterdam, via the Noordzeekanaal to the North Sea, where the steel plant of Tata Steel is located. The industrial area of Tata Steel, is captured at 40 pages of this Photo Atlas.

The Port of Amsterdam is the second largest port in The Netherlands, but a smaller port in Europe. 


The Noordzeekanaal is the access water way to the city of Amsterdam and  shows every so many years the spectacle of the SAIL event, when the Tall Ships sail in and stay a weekend in the IJhaven. The SAIL event is captured on 40 pages of this book.

Formerly at 30 April, now 27th of April, is celebrated the Kings birthday on the waterways of Amsterdam.
