Meeting another single parent, a single man, who actually has a daughter sharing the same kindergarten class with one of Julie’s own, is obviously too good to be true. It’s like believing you can really buy a cupcake for a quarter. Or that giving those quarters to your kids actually means something. What does it take to start believing again?
