It’s always a pleasure to be taken on a journey to an author’s happy place. Di Morrissey clearly loves Cooktown, “the isolated, little-known gem of the far north of Australia” and the setting of Rain Music. We loved settling into this heartfelt story about a brother and sister who embark on parallel journeys to find fulfilment and properly grieve their father’s passing.
