The story follows ‘The Continental Op’ who is called from San Francisco to Personville to meet with Donald Willsson who is murdered before Op arrives. Op finds himself embroiled in labor disputes, corruption, mobsters and gang wars. 


Red Harvest has served as inspiration for many film noir classics including Kurosawa’s Yojimbo and Sergio Leone’s Dollars Trilogy starring Clint Eastwood as the ‘Man with No Name’.
