Red Wool

The Russians have just lost the space race from the Americans but are already preparing to show the world what they are really capable of.

In comes Leonid, an enthousiastic biologist. He moves with his wife and daughter to far remote Siberia to work on a secret Russian space project. His principles are questioned and his family life disrupted when he finds out what his part to play is.

He is the caretaker for a mammoth due for space.
