Two serial killers have been taking victims for over twenty years without arousing police attention. All that changes when they choose the wrong victim. Victoria Bentley's car is found abandoned at a rest area. Her husband, a prominent Chicago attorney, will not let Victoria's disappearance be filed as an unhappy wife leaving a bad marriage. He will not rest until he finds out what happened to his beloved wife.

Special Agent Maggie May believes there is something sinister about Victoria's disappearance and is determined to get the answers and closure Victoria's family needs. This proves to be difficult because there are no leads, no body, and no evidence to be found.
