We were ordered by our government to leave. At gunpoint is how it felt. That's all staff and patients to leave our families, homes, friends, country and our world. Why? Because our government had seen a danger coming and this was how they had prepared for it! Because our hospital was needed as a quarantine facility and because our nursing knowledge was required on another world. If we did not obey these orders, we would be deregistered and forbidden to work. Worse, we knew the other world was buying us and our patients. And we were going to an unknown, sent by faceless people we did not trust, who were lying to us, who 'owned' the media and who said we were volunteers. And by censorship and threats, we were silenced.
