Apparently, capitalism does offer many benefits, but what about socialism? Does it live up to its hype and are there
examples of incredible successes. Has socialism demonstrated sustainability, or created unintended ill effects? Can
socialism create a more equitable society, without jeopardizing our rights and freedoms?
These are the questions those leaning towards socialism need to consider. Switching to another political system
would have a profound effect on each American, the nation, and the world. Consequently, it isn't a decision one
should undertake without a thorough understanding of the potential implications.
