The Furnass Towers project has gone belly-up, and realtor Dickie Sutcliff is picking up the pieces along with setting up housekeeping with his younger lover and the return of his prodigal brother, Harry Todd. Both brothers are haunted by the ghost of their beloved sister and dealing with their aged mother, Kitty, keeper of the family's secrets.
