Enthralling
It was a random selection when I chose the first book in this series and I was instantly hooked. This series, in particular the final book, was truly enthralling. Many tears were shed ... Tears of joy and heartbreak and everything in between. Rarely does anything grab me emotionally like this series. Written probably in the young adult range but definitely wonderful for older adults too.
My only complaint is the editing... Simply awful! The final book in particular had so many grammatical errors I wonder if it was edited at all. Perhaps this was written in another language (Afrikaan?) and then lost something in translation? I did not let the horrible editing stop me enjoying this series though and am pleased I persevered.
I am looking forward to continuing the journey with the spin off series and will continue to hope that someone in the television business picks this up for a wonderful series!
